The Quran is the Book of God. It has been preserved in its entirety for all time to come. In the present book, The Quran: An Abiding Wonder, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, briefly discusses two aspects of the Quran: firstly, its being in itself a proof that it is the Book of God; secondly its complete preservation in its original form, as revealed to the Arab Prophet Muhammad in the seventh century Hijrah. The perfect state of preservation singles out the Quran from its predecessors as a unique vehicle for divine guidance and salvation. Due to its preservation, it is a book that will retain its validity until the Day of Judgment. Apart from this fact, the author discusses the Quran in itself being a proof that it is the Book of God.
In the book, Quranic Wisdom, the author Maulana Wahiduddin Khan explains that if you read the Quran, you will find that it gives wisdom on all of the subjects relating to human beings. But the basic theme of the Quran is the creation plan of God. God Almighty created the universe, and, it is God Almighty who revealed this book that is called Al-Quran. The primary purpose of the Quran is to reveal that divine plan according to which the world was created and people were settled in it. According to the Quran, a person’s life has been divided into two phases: the pre-death period and the post-death period. The present life is only temporary and is meant as a test. Depending upon our performance in this test, we shall be judged in the eternal life after death. The Quran aims to make one aware of this reality and help one lead one’s life in this world in such a way that one is rewarded with Paradise in the life Hereafter.

When participants in such dialogues openly share their perspectives and remain receptive to insights that emerge, it can bring people closer, enhance relations between communities, and build mutual understanding. This process not only allows participants to share their beliefs but also to learn from one another, creating a platform to unite peace-loving individuals from diverse religious backgrounds in working for the global good
In the book, Spirit of Ramadan, the author Maulana Wahiduddin Khan explains that fasting in the month of Ramadan is a living creative process. Fasting aims to make man’s life a roza-oriented life. The purpose of fasting is to make one cautious in life (2:183) and to make one thankful to God (2:185). The spirit of Ramadan is abstinence, to put a curb on one’s desires. During the month of Ramadan one abstains from one’s desires like thirst and hunger as per compulsion, to learn to put a curb on other desires as per our intention. A person trained in this way starts leading a disciplined life by one’s own decision. Symbolically speaking, the position of fasting is akin to applying brakes to the engine in one’s life. Brakes keep the engine of a vehicle in control. Without brakes in the engine, the vehicle will not work properly. The same is the case of fasting in the life of a believer. The fasting of that person is real fasting for whom fasting becomes akin to applying brakes as far as forbidden things are concerned in the eyes of God. Man should accord the place of brakes to fasting in his life so that he may travel successfully on the path of God.
